Before the official opening ceremony, I would like to test a new type of competition: PICK YOUR PUZZLE
Different motifs will be puzzled!
Puzzles with up to 12 different motifs are laid out before the competition. You can view the motifs in advance at www.linnschiffmann.de/shop. There are more of some motifs available, fewer of others. It is therefore not guaranteed that you will get your favourite puzzle.
In addition, everyone has 5 minutes to look at the motifs on site.
Participants can then choose a puzzle. The selection is made in groups. The division of the groups is based on the last competition time for a 500-piece puzzle (online or on-site competition) of the participants. (Please send your time to info@linnschiffmann.de approx. 1-2 weeks before the event)
Those with the slowest times may choose their puzzles first.
8:00 – 8:05 am - View motifs (for all)
8:10 - 8:20 am - Motif selection (by groups)
8:30-9.30 p.m. Jigsaw puzzles
Here, a 500-piece puzzle is solved in 60 minutes.
The winner is the participant who completes the puzzle in the shortest time.
If no participant completes the puzzle, the winner is the person who has placed the most pieces correctly in the time allowed. All matching pieces from a group size of 3 pieces are counted.
The participants may keep the puzzles.
The participants each have 70 x 75 cm of space. They each receive a white cardboard sheet measuring 70 x 75 cm to level out any unevenness on and between the tables. The 500 piece puzzles have a size of 34 x 48 cm.
