The pair consists of two people who puzzle continuously – there is no possibility to exchange a participant during the competition.
After completing the puzzle and checking its completeness, the next puzzle can be started directly. The pair decide for themselves whether to remove the completed puzzle from the table for the time being. The risk of mixing up the puzzles or losing pieces is the responsibility of each pair.
If pieces are missing at the end of the puzzle, these are noted when the time is recorded and taken into account when determining the total number of pieces placed.
If the last puzzle is not completely solved, the officials will count and note the correctly placed pieces. Groups of three or more correctly connected puzzle pieces count as correctly placed.
Puzzles from different manufacturers with a maximum of 1000 pieces are puzzled, all pairs start with the same puzzle, then continue in a fixed order. Around 15 puzzles will be prepared for each couple, an exact number will follow.
Each couple will have a table measuring 180x80cm at their disposal.
All pairs will receive all prepared puzzles - even the puzzles that have not been started.
International guests are very welcome, there is a joint scoring for all.
For this competition, a drinks and food package and a yoga course are available for you to book.
