A disabled toilet is also available. The large and
small hall, which can be accessed at ground level, is correspondingly spacious so that wheelchair access is not an
obstacle. Access to the gallery is via stairs from the foyer. However, the gallery can be reached at ground level via an extra entrance on the Walldürner Straße side.
The distance to the nearest public transport stop is approx. 80 metres. 80 metres.
For visitors with disabilities arriving by car, disabled parking spaces are available on the neighbouring Musterplatz.

Located in the city centre, the Stadthalle has good connections to the surrounding infrastructure. There are several free car parks available for your visit to the Stadthalle, on Musterplatz, behind the railway station in Eisenbahnstraße and in the Volksbank Franken eG customer car park in Walldürner Straße. The old town centre and the pedestrian zone are just a few minutes' walk away.

General rules

Only participants and officials (persons authorised by the club) may enter the competition area.

Participants must be on site 20 minutes before the start of the competition.

Participants under the age of 18 are generally permitted. They must be accompanied by an adult. To take part in the individual category, children under the age of 14 in particular should be able to solve a 300 or 500 piece puzzle independently in the required time and have already done so several times if possible.

In the event of a participant not turning up, the association reserves the right to nominate participants at short notice, e.g. on the basis of a waiting list.

Until the presenter announces the start of the competition and the stopwatch starts, the puzzle boxes may not be manipulated, unsealed or opened.

Officials will supervise the competition and note the times of the competitors. If a competitor / pair / team is close to finishing a puzzle, they should raise their arm to alert an official to record the time. After checking for completeness, the official will record the time and pass it on to the head judge.

All puzzles used in the competition are the property of the participants after the competition has been completed.

The decisions of the judges during the competitions are final.

Sorting aids or plates may be used as aids. Box top holders are also permitted. Headphones are permitted as long as other participants are not disturbed by them.
Aids must be brought by the participants themselves.

Orders that change the height or arrangement of the tables are not permitted. Additional light sources are not permitted. Templates that represent the puzzle manufacturer's pattern are not permitted.

Any assistance during the competition from a person other than the participant may result in the participant being excluded.

The organiser points out that pictures and film recordings will be taken during the event and that these may be published on the Internet or other social media. By participating in this public event, a participant waives his/her "right to his/her own image".

The organiser is not liable for loss or theft of objects of any kind.

In the event of cancellation or postponement of the championship for reasons beyond the control of Puzzleverein Deutschland e.V., Puzzleverein Deutschland e.V. is not liable for any damage caused by the organiser. Puzzleverein Deutschland e.V. shall not be liable for any indirect expenses incurred by the participants, except for the registration fees paid.

Puzzle Rush:

After completing the puzzle, participants may leave the competition area early, but must take all their belongings with them and take care not to obstruct other participants. At the end of the competition, all participants should leave the competition area with their belongings so that it can be prepared for the next competition.

If pieces are missing at the end of the puzzle, 5 seconds will be added to the final time for each lost piece.

If the puzzle is not completed in the allotted time, the officials will count and note the correctly placed pieces.

8h Pairs Marathon:

The pair consists of two people who puzzle continuously – there is no possibility to exchange a participant during the competition.

All pairs start with the same puzzle, then continue in a fixed order.

After completing the puzzle and checking its completeness, the next puzzle can be started directly. The pair itself decides whether to remove the completed puzzle completely from the table for the time being. The risk of mixing up the puzzles or losing pieces lies with each pair itself.

If pieces are missing at the end of the puzzle, these will be noted when recording the time and taken into account when determining the total number of pieces placed.

If the last puzzle is not completely solved, the officials will count and note the correctly placed pieces. Groups of three or more correctly connected puzzle pieces count as correctly placed.
